CADET FIREFIGHTERS & VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS NEEDED!

Oldham County has a new program available for youth ages 15-18. Check out the Oldham County Cadet Firefighters. Now accepting applications for the 2023 Recruit Class starting in February. 
  • ​The PVFD received our new ISO rating based on the addition of Station 2 and the amended water flow reports for Shelby County. We are now a 3/3X which is better than we had anticipated. This may not have a significant impact on our property owners' insurance rates, but it does indicate that we are continuing to improve on our task providing a high level of fire protection services for our area.
